Hi Sharon,

My employer (and friend, Amanda C of Gift Wrapped and Gorgeous) recently leant me your book to read... I just wanted to email you and tell you how inspired I feel after reading it.

I have always felt compelled to invent something, and although I had a 'lightbulb moment' a few months ago, I had let my enthusiasm fade due to a severe lack of confidence, and finances.

After reading your book, I now feel compelled to follow my idea through, as you have truely inspired me! Like most young people, I really lack confidence in myself and my ideas, but your story has shown me that anything is possible if I put my mind to it. Deep down, I am a really determined person and if I put my mind to something, I strive to achieve my goal to the best of my ability.

To cut a very long story short, I suffer from severe anxiety, and often have panic attacks when I am stressed, or confronted with food. Although I am only 23, I have experienced various episodes of emotional trauma in my life, and it has caught up with me over the past 4 years. This has really held me back, but I am determined to fight my way through this difficult time and deal with the issues from my past that are haunting me.

Following our brief meeting at Business Scene in York a couple of months ago, your book has been on my "to read list" for a few weeks. Finally, during the past few days I opened and read it. An inspirational story told from the heart and I congratulate you on your achievements, tenacity and ability to overcome what life has thrown at you.

Now I have read it I am sending it to my Daughter who is about to give birth to her first child in a few weeks and who has a business idea she wishes to develop.
